　　2021年，在潍坊市委、市政府的正确领导下，潍坊市科学技术局认真践行习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想，坚持创新引领，积极搭建科技创新平台，集聚培育高端创新人才，取得了良好的效果。潍坊市在第三批国家创新型城市评估中，位列全国17城市第5位，成功跨入国家创新型城市行列，科技创新实现重大突破。全年我市共引进外国专家407人次，获批中国政府“友谊奖”、省政府“齐鲁友谊奖”各1个，获批国家高端外国专家引进计划7个、“海外工程师”支持计划7个，为企业争取引智资金909.2万元，成绩稳居全省前列。

　　亮眼的成绩单背后，凝聚了广大外国专家、国际友人的心血和智慧。潍坊的发展离不开你们的支持和参与。我们诚挚希望各位外国专家一如既往地关心、支持、参与潍坊的建设，为潍坊的科技创新工作献计献策，为潍坊故事积极发声。新的一年，我们将以新担当、新作为、新成绩实施更加开放的人才政策，继续为海内外人才搭建施展才华的舞台，提升外国专家在潍坊工作、生活的获得感、幸福感。

　　A Spring Festival Greeting Letter to Foreign Experts in Weifang

　　Dear foreign experts and friends,

　　Everything starts anew for the year ahead. On the occasion of the Spring Festival, Weifang Science and Technology Bureau would like to express our sincere greetings and best wishes for the Chinese New Year to you, all foreign experts and your families!

　　In 2021, under the correct leadership of the CPC Weifang Municipal Committee and Weifang Municipal Government, Weifang Science and Technology Bureau earnestly implemented Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. The bureau pursued innovation-driven development and actively built platforms for scientific and technological innovation to gather and cultivate high-end innovative talent, achieving good results. In the evaluation of the third group of national innovative cities, Weifang ranked 5th among the 17 most innovative cities across China, successfully entered the ranks of national innovative cities, and achieved major breakthroughs in scientific and technological innovation. Throughout the year, a total of 407 foreign experts were introduced. Among whom, one was awarded the Chinese government "Friendship Award" and one was awarded the Shandong provincial government "Qilu Friendship Award". Seven projects were listed in National High-end Foreign Experts Introduction Plans and seven in "Overseas Engineers" Support Plans. Weifang won over 9.092 million yuan of talent-attraction fund for enterprises. With these achievements, the performance of Weifang ranked in the forefront of Shandong province.

　　We cannot earn such achievements without the painstaking efforts and wisdom of the vast number of foreign experts and international friends. The development of Weifang is inseparable from your support and participation. We sincerely hope that all foreign experts continue to care about, support and participate in the construction of Weifang, provide ideas and suggestions for the scientific and technological innovations in Weifang and actively convey Weifang stories to the world. In the year ahead, we will implement more open talent policies with new responsibilities, new actions and new achievements, so as to keep building a stage for domestic and overseas talent to display their expertise, and enhance the sense of acquisition and happiness among foreign experts when working and living in Weifang.
