The invention relates to a method for preparing an Al3Ti reinforced aluminum base material. The method for preparing the Al3Ti reinforced aluminum base material includes the steps that oxide of titanic or fluoride of titanic is added in an aluminum solution at the temperature of 920 DEG C to 1000 DEG C, metal aluminium is taken as a reducing agent, aluminothermic reduction reaction occurs 0.5h to2h, reduced titanium further reacts with aluminum to form an Al3Ti, and the Al3Ti enters into the aluminum solution and is uniformly arranged to form the Al3Ti reinforced aluminum base material. According to the method for preparing the Al3Ti reinforced aluminum base material, technological processes is shortened, the preparation cost is lowered, impurity content is further reduced greatly, and the combination performance of the aluminum base material is improved. An interface combined Al3Ti enhanced particles with a base body is clean and non-pollution, and is good in consistency and high ininterface bonding strength, the mechanical performance and the abrasion performance of the interface can be both improved greatly, moreover, the Al3Ti enhanced particles are ordered phases and show high strength and elastic modulus; in addition, intermetallic phases are also good in oxidation resistance and decay resistance performance in fluoride atmosphere above an aluminum melting point.
