The invention relates to a multi-mode coupled power transmission system of a range-***, a storage battery, an inverter, a third clutch, an auxiliary motor, a second clutch, a brake, a planet carrier and a coaxial gear integrated with the planet carrier, a planet wheel, a sun wheel and a center shaft integrated with the sun wheel, a first clutch, a main driving motor, a gear ring, a primary reduction gear and a coaxial gear integrated with the primary reduction gear, a main reducer and a differential mechanism assembly; the system is capable of realizing the shifting of high and low gears by controlling the engagement and disengagement of the first clutch and the brake; if the first clutch is engaged and the brake is disengaged, the system works at a high gear; if the first clutch is disengaged, ***-mode coupled power transmission system of the range-increasing electric car has 12 working modes in total, mainly including pure electrically driving modes; as a result, the problems of over-high peak power and low low-load operating efficiency of the driving motor.
