An end-port furnace for container glass was simulated via the glass furnace model (GFM) software, and the performance of multi-row forced bubbling was analyzed. The influence of multi-row bubbling on the temperature and circular flow distribution of glass melt, furnace heat efficiency, glass quality was discussed according to the simulation results of furnaces with 1 to 3 rows of forced bubbling at melter bottom. It is indicated that the multi-row bubbling technique for glass furnace could enhance the heat efficiency, glass quality and melting rate of the furnace.
